NewJeans achived million seller within six months

 Girl group "NewJeans" has achieved the "million seller" album status within six months of their debut.

According to the Suckle Chart (formerly known as the Gaon Chart), the sales of NewJeans' first single "OMG" released on the 2nd of this month reached 1,014,462 units. With this, NewJeans has achieved the "million seller" album status within six months of their debut.

"OMG" became a "half-million seller" two days after its release. It recorded sales of 700,000 units during its first week. As a result, NewJeans also became the group with the shortest debut years to be included in the top 5 of the Suckle Chart's all-time girl group first week sales, alongside Blackpink (2 albums), aespa and Ive.

"OMG" took the top spot on the latest Suckle Chart weekly album chart (counted from January 15th to 21st). The album's tracks "Ditto" and the title track "OMG" also consecutively took first and second place on global K-pop charts, digital charts, and streaming charts.
